Sounds like fun. I think I'll shoot a good target with a flinter and a bad one with a cap gun just to mess up the modern boys. Them caps'll never catch on anyways.

Looks like the rockbangers are buildin' up a pretty fair team.

Them new-fashioned popgun shooters are in for a good old-fashioned whuppin'!

Oh I see...Fair weather friends. Some of the members of the whippersnapers were capsmakers and that was all good. Now..not so much :haha: :blah: . Thats ok though. Instead of using the 1:48 twist Hawkin I used in the last competition I'm getting out the 1:66 twist Kentucky. Already lightend the trigger pull a little to make it easier to shoot off hand and the slow twist should make my shots a little more accurate.

Fair weather friends? I think you'll find many of us using a flinter no matter what the weather is...sign me up Jethro.

BOTH flint and caplock.

I will use the same rifle, though, just change the locks out. Had a custom made a few years back so I could do that.
