Been looking everywhere for #11 caps, seems no one has any in stock. I did find 2 places that said they have them, but minimum order was $200 and $300. Dont need that many supplies right now.
Just finished my first build, have everything I need now except the caps.
Guess I'll be waiting awhile longer to get to the range and work up a load.

Guess that will give me time to read up on all of the muzzleloading do,s and donts and as question.

There are some on gun broker. Horrible expensive but they are there. Maybe you can justify one tin just so you can at least shoot.

If you live around Phoenix, I’d give you 10 or 20 to shoot your gun. I have about 300.

This is my first ML and build, so REALLY excited to get to the range.

I finally had to go to gun broker and by a tin at greatly inflated price. Hope by the time I go thru these, caps will be available again.

That's not a horrible price, but another thread was talking about a $75 hazmat fee due to a Fed-Ex price increase.

Sorry to not answer your question directly but perhaps a future thought. I've watched this situation play out for years with different ammo running into short supply at different times. Getting fed up on that I bought all the .50 maxis I thought I would need until my shoulder was dislocated. That was in one month. Next month was .54. After that I bought 1000 caps and a dozen flints. The caps carried a $26 Hazmat fee back. Can't imagine what it is now. I've never had to buy anything more along those lines so my advice is stock up when you can.

Past couple of days looking for caps, I've seen hazmat charges from 30 to 50 bucks from different retailers.
