Welcome from Florida!

I just bought three polished horns and some other odds and ends from you a month or so ago. I am very happy with the horns, the transaction went smoothly, and shipping was fast. Powder Horns & More is a good outfit to deal with, and probably the only one that shows you the actual horn you will receive.

i also followed the story of the Ashley Return in Muzzle Blasts. That was quite a trip!

Please keep up your good work!

Hello folks, Gerry "Lucky" Messmer here, owner of Powderhorns and More. I joined this forum to discuss muzzleloading without the garbage you find on social media. So many people with so many great ideas and experience on here.

I live in upstate New York, for now...been shooting muzzleloaders for over 48 years. Love living history....did the Ashley's Return 2000 mile, 95 day journey you see on Facebook, and all around love the outdoors.
Welcome, from Northeast Ohio(Bellaire). We love black powder firearms, traditional muzzleloading firearms and primitive weapons. We love history and we love showing the younger generation what they're missing.

Howdy Lucky,
It's good to see ye here on the forum. It's been a while since you stopped by the house that time but I disremember when it was .... just before ye retired as I recall. I've been checking yr website from time to time and do admire what ye've done with the flat horns. That little one I showed ye was found wedged down under a broken step in the staircase of a farmhouse that had been abandoned since well before the recollection of any local people. Still had a trace if powder in it. That was in the Adirondacks. No telling how long it had been there. Anyway, welcome to the forum from the Texas Hill Country.
