A great accessory for your pistol. I read where a lot of these were issued with the 1860 army pistol. This has great looking wood, I think it is walnut, brass fittings like the original.the stock mounts up to your gun and has a thumb screw for attachment. This stock makes your army like a revolving carbine. Accuracy is very good, much better than shooting by hand. You should use safety glasses or some kind of eye protection since you are closer to the percussion cap. Like new condition, I am asking 200.00 that is half the price they are going for today, check for yourself.
I don't think you will find any better. 001.JPG 002.JPG

Who made it? Is it made to fit Uberti guns or is it a Dixie Gun Works model?

As far as I know it should fit your Uberti, I didn't buy mine from Dixie Gun Works. I bought mine at Fort Shenandoah during a N.S.S.A national match.A few years back.

For those who don't know, this stock will only work on the "4 screw" Colts that have a notch cut in the metal grip strap. The notch is on the flat bottom area towards the rear of the grip..
The "4th screw" is located on both sides of the frame just above the trigger. The head of the screw sticks out slightly above the surface of the frame.

It would be a good idea to check your pistol to see if it has these features before buying this stock. Not all of the Italian reproductions do.

You didn't make any errors. Many of the Colt 1860's were made to allow the stock to be used. Some of the Colt 1851's also were made with the notch and 4 screw design.
The Italians copies of these guns may or may not have these features and I thought it only fair to let the buyers know about them. :)

I just checked out the price Dixie Gun Works is asking for an 1860 Army shoulder stock.
Would you folks believe $320 + shipping? Well, that's their price at the moment.

I sent you a Personal Message or as it's now called a Conversation. You should click on the envelop up in the right corner of the screen to see it and you can reply to it just as you would reply to a post in this thread. Actually a little red #1should show on top of the bell in the upper right to alert you you have a message. Basicly I said I would take it for $145 and asked a couple of questions.
