I shoould know this, but it escapes me...when using a flintlock...you can prime the pan with the same powder you put down the barell...right?

I have always heard...the antler (handle) was soaked in a bucket of water a long way from the house, (smells real bad after a bit), about 30 to 45 days. The inner core of the antler softens to the poit one can slide (force) the tang of the blade into the antler, the core, once the tang is fully...

I've always been intrigued by the knive carried in the show..they are known as riflemans' knives and the nearest I can come to finding one that looks like the ones on the show are at Crazy Crow. (just for GP, they are carbon steel)..
