The Pattern "F" restoration is coming along nicely. The metal is in great shape with very clear markings. I figure I am about 75% complete. I am taking her out to the range in the morning and she how she does.






 
I really like the work you do on these rifles. I was wondering if they are encrusted with mainly old grease and grime only or if you have run across any rust issues. If you have encountered rust have you used the vinegar bath technique to remove it?Keep up the good work and thanks.
 
Thanks for the correction. I was lumping this thread together with Monkey Paw's recent post on his P1837 Brunswick rifle in the Photos sub forum.
