Sergeant York 1941, filmed 1939/40 a lot of real antique Muzzlelaoders were used as there were no reproductions at that time.

When "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" was being filmed in the mid 70's, Charles Pierce rented my dads farmhouse to do the scene where Dawn and her husband get shot. She used his bedroom as her powder room, so dad always tells folks Mary Ann was in his bedroom one time. He said she was a sweet lady.
