You ought to check out their 1860 Army with the Lightning grips. They have several different models of it, short barrels and nickle plated etc.

I've seen Cabelas selling that gun, but it was SS and engraved.
:hmm:
I agree Pietta sells some strange thought up Revolvers, but they are good quality and are fun to shoot. I have several but all of mine are of the 1858 variety. I also see that Cabala's has had a price increase from last month too. Everything goes up but my wages. :( :( :(

I use a muti bit screw driver with the shank removed, giving me a nice handle. If you get an orange handled one from Lows you will have one actually made in the US.

When I take this little beast to the range will 20 grains and a .451 ball be safe to shoot with the brass frame? I feels kind of heavy for a short barrel. It weighs a couple of ounces lighter than the 1860 Army with a steel frame.Recoil shouldn't be a problem.LOL I have a permit to carry, maybe I will take it out for walks.

 I have had one of these for over 10 years, 20 to 24 grns of fff with filler is a very good load for me .
