Well I shot the rifle with the skinner and unfortunately I do not have enough height adjustment so my option was to either have a shorter front sight or somethng different. I went ahead and mounted a T/C peep sight on the tang. Works well and I have windage adjustment at both ends. I have shot about 50 rounds out of it, all 370 grain maxi ball and it is plenty accurate for deer hunting out to 150 yards.

Did the TC produced tang mounted peep sights require any additional holes to be drilled or just use existing holes? I have never seen one in person.
Thanks

It depends on the age of the T/C components. Later tangs had the front hole pre-drilled and tapped with a dummy screw in its place. Earlier guns required drilling and tapping the front hole. The rear hole used the existing tang screw into the wrist.
