This was my pick from my father-in-laws guns. Smooth bore measures .595 and barrel length is 38"
Any help identifying would be appreciated. I'm not even sure its an antique.

Set triggers on a smooth bore?!? Neat old gun! May be a later period put together, still a neat item. With period electric tape to hold it all together! Seriously- check to see if it’s loaded.

Have you learned anything more on this gun? Looks like a Ohio gun( trigger guard and buttplate) the not octagon and smoothbore is different.
