I have one in .54. My go to hog rifle so far. I just built a Lyman GPR IN .54 that might replace her. The Pedersoli is much better balanced though. You'll love the Frontier.
Only minor complaint I have is, the crown makes it a bit hard to start the ball.

I received a Pedersoli Frontier in .36 caliber for Christmas. I've collected a few squirrels with it thus far. It is hands down my favorite muzzle loader (own a Bess, Lyman Deer Stalker and have borrowed a Traditions Hawken, Investment Arms Zuave).

I have a replacement front sight for my Frontier, but am doing pretty well with the very thick stock front sight (after removing a considerable amount of height from the front sight). I might use a small file to remove some of the thickness so that I can better see/define the front sight.

Enjoy that muzzle loader!

Congrats on a great rifle! I love my Pedersoli.32 flintlock marked Garrett Arms Richmond VA. I picked it up a few years back used from Dixon’s. It’s very accurate and pleasant to shoot. And economical!
