My team and I will be hosting the woods walk this fall at Fort De Chartres.
My question to all of you is this, what would be a good distance for game targets to make it somewhat fair for rifle and smoothbore shooters, all the targets will be off-hand. My thoughts were to keep the targets 35 yards and under.

I think that’s a good limit, since not shooting an x fifty would probably be tge most
I've pretty much got the course laid out it will be right at a mile total with a duration of 45 minutes. My goal is to try and run two teams on the course separated by about 20-25 mins.
Considering there are normally between 20-25 teams there wouldn't be enough time in two days to get them all through singly.
