Hi. I am new to muzzle loading and so eager for reading material. Just read "English Guns and Rifles George." I would recommend it. Although the title says English there is of course much reference to American guns. Covers from the 15th century to the development of unmentionable guns. Some amazing facts that I am sure a lot of you are aware of, for instance a flint lock six shot revolver. Made in the year 1650.
Well worth a read written in 1947 and still available. Lots of technical stuff.

"The Muzzle Loading Rifle Then and Now" by Walter Cline. Can be found on amazon (1981 edition) or on Ebay in original 1st edition print as low as $9.99. I found it very interesting and had many great photos included.
