Sir, you might try a bees wax/olive oil lube combo simply because it will not foul a hunting load like a water based lube will. It might be hours before you take a shot and any type of water based lube might contribute to load contamination. It is different when at the target range. I use a .62 round ball of a bismuth/tin ratio of 95%/5% in both my Pedersoli SXS shotguns for the right barrels. I use the beeswax/olive mixture with a .010 patch and get pretty good accuracy for a smooth bore out to fifty yards. I was using a water based lube but using the beeswax olive oil lube gave me better accuracy. Just something to play around with. Best of luck to you sir.
