I picked up a powder flask and I'm curious about the push-spring measure. I haven't encountered this type of measure before. How many grains would it throw? Any information greatly appreciated.

I have only seen those type flasks used with the larger Dragoon pistols. I have a couple but honestly have not had a chance to use them yet. On mine I believe the quantity it throws is adjustable. It is easy enough to throw a charge and measure it. I have a clear plastic graduated test tube measure that is the bee’s knees for checking charges.
