Well I took my Bobby Christain Virginia smoothrifle, that i purchased off from this sight. To my first ever smoothbore compition at our local club this weekend. It looks like i have to keep this gun, I hit a 9 out of 10 targets and took first place. Being this was my first smoothbore shoot and never shooting this gun without the rear sight i was very happy. For the shoot I removed the rear sight and plugged the dove tail with a brass plug that is flat with the barrel. I'm not sure the sight will ever go back on. I have to say Bobby builds a great little gun. This 36 inch colerain barrel was jug choked by caywood, and to those that worry about roundball accuracy after it has been jug choked, have no fear.

My B. Christian smoothbore has put me in the winning money on several occasions

A smoothbore won our woods walk a couple weeks back-and that was against rifles. He only had 1 miss out of 20.
