I'm looking for some photos or drawings of a volley gun breech area. How was fire from one lock and barrel directed to the others? How were the vent holes or channels arranged and constructed? I've found many photos of 'shoulder fired' guns by several builders, but none have details of the ignition design beyond the lock. Any help is much appreciated.

The multi-barreled guns I've read about either had independent locks or they had interconnected breeches.

The interconnected breeches used an appropriate sized hole to communicate the fire from each barrel to the next.

When fired, all of the barrels went off in such a rapid succession that it appeared to fire all barrels at once.
