Thanks, just ordered....I use those charge tubes also for duck hunting amd the bpi wads for duck as well with bismuth....this year for dove I loaded with the VM STARR method....70grn 2f swiss, 4 thin overshot cards, 1 3/8 #7.5 lead, 2 thin over shot cards with off set holes. These gave me the best patterns I have seen for flying fowl. Gonna try something similar this year for ducks and see what I get. I heard you n can use
Bismuth without shot cups
In the pedersoli barrels

I do also have these.... I have a whole set of hands tools Basically everything to reload from grandpa.. dad has the scale is a nice old one marble top a draw and brass with all the weights even the small slivers... I want that I'd use it lol I'd switch from a digital scale and call it better.

Just thinking of stuff to try. I'd snag a small piece from work.

I did already stock up on nitro cards!

There's allot to this muzzloader. It's what got though... it's been 3 years now I've made to switch from benelli to pedersoli. I always wanted one but I was never going to pay this much that for its price lmao no way.... and then when you need one it's suddenly worth it every penny.

The cool thing is it’s a little more work but kill just the same and really connects you to the whole deal instead of just dropping some shells in and going boom boom boom! We duck hunt in a place that is always The X !!! So I started about 3 years ago leaving my Benelux home and used my Pedersoli 12 sxs. My Son brought a friend and he started calling it the Blunderbuss. One flock of ducks came in it was my turn for first shot and when the gun went off 4 ducks fell. Of course they must have all lined up perfectly with the one I was leading but that guy about crapped his pants!!! Still talks about it to this day and I never said anything different! Got to love muzzleloading I tell ya.

Home from cabelas. Got a choke to try

Says on the choke .705... long range full 40 + yards... well see what it does at 20..

Shot it for the first time. It's nice

I did somehow grab the wrong nitros.. I grabbed the ten gauge ones lol but I had 12ga wool wads...

The load I used was.. 70 grns vol pyrodex rs 1 1/4 shot 50/50 #6 #4 lead... 3 wool wads... 2 over powder and one on top. I did like that I didn't have to remove the choke to load...

20yards

On the left is Carlson sporting clay.. cylinder

On the right.. cremator LR

Going to order a .660 trky choke next to try... pattern I think is good looks about right.

Cleaning out the choke.. I used this setup for the barrel threads...

Windex with vinegar soaked car micro fiber cloth on an arrow...

Then a run with a cloth soaked in ballistol..

The arrows vanes and nock point allows you to spin the cloth. It just works

I do have to try other loads that I've saved. the wool wad info I got was the possible shop load. I couldn't remember earlier where I got it from but I found it.

I was concerted about choke tubes. There nice, it's a good option to have.

Fine threads cleaning loading etc etc.. I didn't know if I'd like them but as turkey gun gun for turkey I wanted choke.

Kinda a gray gun here is not modern inline but even tk2000 is not really that modern.

Ordered! It's just cheap and works. Probably patterns to tight.

I do favor the older stuff though. If this was a flint I'd go all out and Indian creek it 😆

didn't want ported either but it's good price..

I wanted .670 but that cost $$ then found charts suggests .660 on the 2 3/4 shell guns. So maybe? .660?...

I decided no on the tss shotcup I don't want to pay for it or if you bite down on one that a crazy cracked tooth... it cost to much.. the lead works good and you'll find #6 5 or 4

I need to get #5 shot. It's I think better... I was going to go for reg lead also not the plated.

I need more 6 also..

I changed on the choke lol. I'm just trying to decide.. .670 or .675... lol Carlson extended turkey chokes have Few size options.. non ported. There worth it

It's just I don't want to tight either. 😕.. both those sizes .670 and .675 should work... mid to far

The cremator. 705 nice for close to mid...

Cylinder.. cleaning loading Pheasants etc..

3 chokes covers it..

I'm sure others have had to switch to muzzloader. Or just ended up that way after buying one

Most people are worried about there cva and an extra week of deer season. Lol there in Remington country.

The Shotgun is my favorite.

So far I've landed with 3 muzzloader and I'm happy.

I like it... I don't want to change gun again or back and forth... the hammers are nice.. double trigger I know the barrel I'm on. The modern knight with Leopold for deer is nice. Same as the look and iron sights on a hawken style etc.. there just nice.

I have to travel for supply etc.. but it's not bad. Makes me feel like old days when you had to go to a store and not just order.

At first i was like no way im getting it all back. Now i just don't want to change again.

.675 choke.
Used almost the same load.

Used 70grn vol Pyro. 1 3/8 Oz shot... same 3 wool wad combo just added a over shot card on top to help keep it tight.

Came out right. I wanted 20 to 30 yard gun with just a little to spare.. at that it's tight for 20 notice I shot slightly too the right on the 20 yard target.

I don't think I'm changing anything with the load etc.... it's good simple works

I do wonder if I can bump it up to 1.5oz..

I think it should handle.. 1.5oz maybe 1.75... with less powder like 60 65 gains volume.

I don't know. Tc book says 1.38oz.. so that's what I went by?
