Howdy folks,
A few weeks back I picked up a used T/C Seneca in .45. I bought it mostly because it was cheap, and I like T/C anyway. I got a nice Patriot pistol at the same time.

Anyway, it turned out to be quite an accurate shooter. I'm wondering how to find a good tang mounted peep sight for it. I see a lot of sights offered that say they fit Thompson, but don't mention specific models, or if they do, the Seneca isn't among them. I'd like to match it up with a nice globe front sight also, but have no clue as to which height to use. I figured to email TOW and Dixie, but thought I'd ask you fine folks first.

Thanks

Have you called T/C customer service to see if they may possibly have one? I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall seeing a tang sight for a Seneca on Ebay once. Most of the T/C tang sights out there are for T/C Hawken, Renegade, New Englander, White Mountain Carbine, ETC. These have a wider tang, and and a different contour than the Seneca. T/C, 603-332-2333.

I haven't called Thompson yet. I was hoping to get an idea what all is available first, to make comparisons. The tang countour is my big worry. I haven't found anything specifically for it yet, so I'm wondering if a sight for a different model might fit it anyway. It's drilled and tapped for a sight already, so I'm sure Thompson once made one.

I have called T/C for parts for my ML and found them to be very helpful. It would be worth the call to their Customer Service.
