Hello,
Our neighbor gave my son a decent little muzzleloader that seems to be in great shape, BUT it’s missing the nipple. It says Sears and Roebuck .45 made in Japan by Miroku. It says it’s a KY model 292, but about 10” shorter than my Pedersoli. It has a brass nose cap and patch box and I’m hoping with the description someone will know which one of the 100 nipple choices (from Track of the Wolf) it would take?
Thanks in advance,
Brian

My guess is it will be metric. You could always take it to your hardware store and try out different thread sizes.

Go to the hardware store and get one of each of these sized bolts.

1/4-28 US standard thread
6mm - 1.00 metric thread
6mm - 0.75 metric thread

One of those bolts should be a finger tightening fit. Buy that sized nipple.

I got a Miroku a month or so ago and the nipple was missing on it also. Think I am going to do a refurb job on it. Its a little rough
