Lee makes these in 250 and 320 grain. Does anyone have any experience on how accurate these are? Which would be a better choice for deer? Thanks

It all depends on what your muzzleloader is rifled at...

1:48 twist works better with bullets
1:66 twist works better with round ball

My advivse would be to get both sizes (250 and 320 grain) and see which one your gun likes better, while there is still time before season.

Many feel (myself included) that you need nothing more than a patched round ball, remember that round balls have been around 300+ years before bullets.

And countless numbers of deers have been harvested this way.

The 250 grain Lee bullet will give you greater volocity than the 320 grain.

The 320 grain will have greater penatration.
Also, here is a link on homemade bullet lube and the Lee R.E.A.L. bullet.
