SMR flinter, 3/4" x .36 x 38", plain maple, browned iron under 6 lbs. As plain a blackeyed peas and cornbread.

sniper, you have made up my mind the rifle on the top is the most beautiful gun I have seen. would love to get the specs on that thing.

I consider this to be a poor-boy type rifle. She's based on an original Mathew Gillespie rifle. 38", 7/8" Rice barrel x .50 cal.

Poor boys are my favorite style of rifle hands down.

I think its just plain maple. I bought it used. I am kicking around the idea of refinishing the stock. The finish is showing wear at the wrist and near the entry thimble. I would be happy if it were a tad darker. It is well used but it looks like the previous owner took very good care of it.

Its a Matt Avance TVM.
