My wife and I were visiting in Vermont a number of years ago.
While there, we stopped in to see her aunt and uncle.
Uncle Lyle gave me a knife from his collection.
Always been curious about the maker.
The name Grenier is etched on the blade as well as the sheath, along with the number 85164.
That ring a bell for anyone?

Roger Grenier. Canadian, i think. Made lots of skinner type knives.
I looked him up and he is from Quebec. The gentleman is still living but has been retired from knife making. He's listed as a master knife maker.
The knife I have is definitely more of a skinner type with a good stout antler handle.
