Homemade Wad & Card Punch

I took an old 3/4” hole saw bit, ground off the teeth, ground in a taper, and sharpened the edge with a file. I dipped it in water while grinding to keep it cool. Not the best, but with a couple of good hits with a hammer they come out pretty nice. I wanted some 12 ga cards for my New Englander.

I've done the same , but to make patches for my .32 and .36 guns. Larger hole saws for patches in the bigger calibers.
