Fillers & Paper Cartriges

I was wondering if anyone has experience making & using paper cartridges with a mix of powder & filler.

I like paper cartridges but I’ve started using lighter Target loads that require some filler.
I assume that the powder and filler would get all mixed up in a paper cartridge when I carry them around since they are pre-made before I go to the range. I was wondering if this causes problems.

Yup.

Use a disk of vegie wad between the powder and filler under the ball. You can also place a lubed wad in there if you wish -- problem solved.
