Sometimes the opinion is so far out it is hard not to toss a bit of flak at the poster, this kind of psuedo ballistics is not good for the new ML hunters on the list,as mentioned there would be a pretty good rainbow with a .50 out at 150 yds even with a stout load, and for hunting any wind will give you a headache side ways, one really needs to give it some thought and know your gun to take that shot, that is what centerfires and peeps/scopes are for, I have helped track down several wounded deer that were shot with hard hitting flatshooting ML's out past 100 yds :shake:
