You are soooo correct Roundball! MI had Dove on the ballot last year to establish the season, but "The Huggers" shot it down. We have 'yote in season now, bear and fall turkey coming up. Rifle for deer 15 Nov, and ML in Dec. Long time away!!!

September 1st has always been a holiday for me. I wouldn't know what to do if we had no dove season here. This year I'm going to turn a few heads out there by using a 10 ga M/L side by side. GW

Yep,
gettin' the fever really bad out here. Rabbit season will open September 1st, squirrel a week later. Early ml season for deer is mid-October.

With my 13 year-old son hunting deer now I can afford to be picky about what I shoot, we'll see how that goes

Fawn season? What's that about? I am not being critical, I just never heard of a fawn season and would like to learn more.
