Fairly new to BP, living on the West Coast and mainly shooting for rendezvous competition (walking trails). Got introduced to it by my girlfriend who's been into that for several years.
Bought an older Investarms Ransom .50 at my first rendezvous but it is being a challenging gun with some very shallow rifling and pitting on the breach end. Tempted to send it to Bobby Hoyt.
Then bought a 36 Seneca which is lovely but doesn't fit me quite as well plus is far too pretty to drag through the trails in our nearly constant rain.
Most recently paid far too much at auction for a 32 CVA Squirrel that has yet to fire a shot (lock problems). Got this to have something for my kids.
I seem to like guns that are more practical than pretty so half stocks are my preference. I'd REALLY like to get my hands on an underhammer to see what that's all about.
