Never doubt Ol' Spence, Wes/Tex. He's one of several crafty hunters around these parts! :haha:

To the OP, I'm a believer in 45 prbs. They're good medicine on Whitetails if you use your head.

Best regards, Skychief

Skychief, weren't those two deer I posted for you taken with a .45? If so, is it OK if I post them?

Spence

Just took delivery of a .445 yesterday. I hope I check back next season with a deer felled by it.

First I have to see if it shoots .440s or .433s best.

Never doubt us old guys, we made any mistakes we'll admit to when the rest of y'all guys were still in pampers! Spence is one of the champions of our sport...his site needs to be required reading for shooters adn hunters in muzzleloading!

The buck in the top picture was taken with a fifty, the bottom, a forty five. I thought you were posting a different buck.

If I recall correctly, the buck in the top picture was the last I took with anything other than a forty five. That was several years ago.

Thanks Spence. Again, I like a forty five.

Best regards, Skychief
