I like collecting and shooting originals. I have a lot of fun with antiques. Here is one of my favorites.

Seller's description:
"This is an exceptional German Jaeger rifle from the mid 1800's that has a very nice bore with strong rifling in the 31 inch barrel. It has nice wood the is very well carved. The stock has a horn muzzle cap and the silver (I think German Silver) mountings are well engraved. It has double set triggers and a manual safety as well as half cock. It is marked "V. Chilshilling in Suhl" with "SPKI" on the breech/ It has a sliding wood patch box with a push button release. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation. LOP 13.75 inches, weighs 7 pounds 2.4 ounces. The wood is sound with no cracks or repairs or fillings. This gun could be put back into service."

And I did!

Really incredible piece! Love the slight drop in the stock!

Why wouldn't it be in service, already? Gorgeous!
