I'm a long time (medieval) reenactor (stateside) now retired in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Looks like there is for me an opportunity to do some reenactment/living history etc here. This concerns Portuguese explorers visiting Thailand in the 16th century. I'll post more in the pre-flintlock forum. :)

Welcome from East Texas

Oh wow!!!
welcome on board, looking forward to photos.
I know Japan has some matchlock contest but I didn’t know any one else in the Far East played👍👍

Welcome and wow. Thailand, very exotic. So how are the laws there in using black powder and ownership of the muzzleloading firearms? Same as USA or worse? And best of luck with your search.

Welcome to the board! Lots of smart and really helpful people on here. I'm not one of them but they are available.
Thailand, that's just down the road from Plainview on Highway 20 right? Used to be a great little burger joint right there on the highway next to the Conoco station.

I recall in the 1970's when a bunch of surplus Siamese Mausers were imported into the US. Bolt action rifles using a cartridge not readily available. Sadly, not a muzzleloader!
