Bean Box

Most commercial Tennessee Bean patch boxes seem a little too large for the stock. Really hate to cover up all that curl with an overly long box. Rather than build my own, or modify one down 20% in size, where's a good place to pick up one smaller than the 7 3/8" that gets listed on most of our parts suppliers?

I searched Dixie in toe plates and patch/cap boxes and couldn't find one, can you provide a link?

I note that some early nineteenth century guns did almost cover the butt with the patch box. They brought out the curl with staging then covered much of it..... different taste rot sure

It was a while back, maybe they don't have it anymore. You may have to use one of the blank steel kits and saw out your own.

I found a smaller box on Jedediah Starr. Not sure if its too thin? 1 1/16" X 5 1/4".
