Anyone shoot a ROA?
Any good?
Any good?
ROAs have been and still are winning Gold at every level at the NMLRA and NRA Nationals...c
Wont sell mine. I did have to have the frame replaced once. Excellent service 20 yrs ago! Thing split at the trigger guard.
Accurate, good looking and pretty much the best I ever handled. (My favorite revolver still lil 1848 tho, those are just too cool!)
I regret selling mine.

Yes. And no more than any Ruger Single Action. Which is to say not really. If taken care of do you guys think it would last? Are there any fragile parts prone to breakage?
Not following the instructions for loading and removing the loading lever assembly can result in a bent base pin. Most common problem I have seen with the ROA. I sure others will have different opinions. https://ruger-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/_manuals/oldArmy.pdfIf taken care of do you guys think it would last? Are there any fragile parts prone to breakage?

Thanks all, was going to get a Rogers and Spencer but since both it and the ROA are discontinued guns, I am leaning towards the ROA because I’ve read they are almost indestructible and if taken care of shouldn’t need parts anytime soon.
