I keep records on when I get guns and here is what I have on them:

26xxx--pre 1980
319xxx--1992
353xxx--1993
481xxx--1996

The 1993 was a kit gun but it is not marked "K".

Richard,

Thank you very much. I have one that I bought in a Pawn Shop three years ago, that is ser. # 352XXX. From what I have read on this Forum, I had narrowed it down to the early '90's. 1992 is nice to know.

Thanks again,
Robert

Robert58,

I keep very detailed records on what I buy, serial numbers, what year, caliber, manufacturer, etc. and how much I paid for a firearm and on and on.

This is for the wife's protection.

When something happens to me she has detailed records on each gun, no one will be beat her out of what was paid for what. Records are kept in the safety deposit box and on disk.

There are not nice people out there.

When you die, they want your guns and really cheap.
