I had to use 777 when BP got forced out here, its great for target work when you dont want to swab every shot, but use the real stuff for real work. Pyr NEVER it eats the barrels up in anything I ever shot it in (many years ago). If I can get 50 shots in useing 777 a hour and not 30 I think Im 20 ahead. But I use " the real thing" for real shooting.( its a 110 mile drive to get) FRED :hatsoff:

I'd have to agree with the others about the smoke, smell, and kaBoom of real Black Powder.
I've only used it and most likely always will. If it's no longer made then I'll have to buy an inline.

Dave; Remember there is nothing better than the smell of real black powder and coffee in the morning!!!!!!!!!!

black powder in barrel first then dried coffee,,,,i wonder,,,, :shake: :shake: :shake:

I only shoot Goex Black Powder.
Unless it becomes controlled where you have to have permits license etc. IM not changing.
If the price goes up astronomically I would be forced to shoot the subsitutes.

That's just it though Goex is Cheaper!! I started there and then fell in with the oh try this it burns cleaner crowd and then came back after learning Goex burns cleaner shoots better and is cheaper.I 'll admitt not having tried the shutzen {yet} I'm back to Goex.
