I don't give them human names, but...
My unmentionable is "Calico"
My laminate stock Hawken is " Autumn". Lots of reddish, brown and gold in that stock. Reminds me of the leaves...
Haven't named my two Renegade flintlocks yet, or my sole breechloading centerfire.
I am mistaken though. My repop P53 Enfield is " Victoria". " Vicky" to her friends."Death" to anything in Union blue. Or deer hide!

Mine is Evelyn. No real reason, just seems right. Lyman/Pedersoli flintlock, slightly improved from new. Just wondering if I'm the only weirdo born way too late.
My deer rifle is Trudy, which is short for Gertrude, which in German means "Strong Spear", and the way she knocks down deer is how she got her name.
My .40 rifle is called "Patience" because I had to wait for it to arrive, for a good while.

We had a stray cat come up to the house, a very old female. My dad said, “Don’t feed that dumb cat.” and that’s what she was for the next eight years or so, until she died. Dumb Cat. She was a hoot!
-Red, I didn’t name that one…
