Range Day today. Took the Trapper with me and entertained a bunch of folk.
One character brought out the angry RSO in me by getting careless and almost took his foot off with a 12 gauge. Sheesh.

Finished up all but the remaining hour or so of incising behind the cheek piece on a rifle. Finish polishing the wood next , then stain , and finish. Finish the metal and to the range.

It rained most of the day here so I worked on a couple of current projects in the shop; some detailing work on an Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer (#128) and rubbed in some more appications of Boiled Linseed Oil into the Flintlock rifle stock.

Picked up some lead 50lbs. I need to cast some balls for Friendship. Went to the thrift store and bought a muffin tin to make ingots.

Got the GPR out for a quick bore check after shooting a few days ago, and my little buddy Kingsley decided that my case from Unique Cases was a good nap spot. I'll admit the lining is pretty comfortable.

Honey doooos. Cleaned a Santa Fe Hawken, got a tire fixed, baked some brownies and went to a rehearsal at the theater where I sing [they ate half of my brownies]. Came home and got on this infernal machine. I'll fix dinner soon, watch a basketball game and go to bed [whenever Betty tells me it's time ] Polecat

Hi. I sing at a small theater in Oklahoma. No shows but we do Southern Gospel music on Friday and traditional country on Saturday. I've been singing there for about 8 years [usually go to South Texas for four or five winter months]. I'm not so good but I sing with several Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame members. The band leader and singer is a Multi Platinum song writer [he has written for George Strait]. For me it is just an opportunity. I've tried to quit but the others won't let me.; just fun for me. Melted & cleans 100lbs of pure lead and 25 lbs of hard lead. Now nap time. Been raining for 3 days. Not going turkey hunting in the rain at 39 deg. Granddaughter did go play in the road thru the swamp w the atv.
