I was just given a beautifull Traditions Fox river fifty, from a close friend.

I don't know much about muzzle loading, have an old Junker .45 cal long rifle I'm trying to restore, but I know from the little I've done that I need help.

Can't find a manual for this rifle, so..
can it shoot sabots ?
or is it limited to round balls ?
What is a good load for this rifle ?

Thanks for puttin' up with my ignorance,

Big Crush

Check the Traditions website. I am not familiar with that gun myself.
