came today. Started with the parts to wood level fit. not a bad kit for $200 clams. has a small gap on the lock mortise. Filled it in with stained sawdust and some crazy glue. small and should not be noticed when done. What going to be tricky for me is doing the drill through for the barrel tennon. Advise appreciated on that. Another thing is the trigger plate. it has wood higher than the plate. I fell if i take it down level it will throw the whole symmetry off. Still wondering what to do with the schnabel looking front part. Maybe add some brass to it or something ? Suggestion,s welcome

Well the stock that comes with this kit is certainly no precision Kibler. Had to create a better "floor" for the trigger plate. Minimize the gaps between the top of the contour and trigger plate. Was able to get the tennon done also. "thanks to advise of some forum Members" The Barrel fits nicely though but the problem is the trigger plate and screw are a 90 degree angle which does not coincide with the barrel inletting or tang thus moving the trigger plate forward a bit and curve the trigger plate slightly. Trigger guard got torched and adjusted to fit in place. Hoping for a decent and nice shooter when its done. Someone commented a lot of wood has to come off with this kit.....they were not kidding....but for two bills it should be a fun build.
