You guys talked me into it, enablers! Rounded up a nose cap that should work, old cast trigger guard that will take some fitting. Buttstock end piece is standard. I'll figure something out for a toe kick.

Currently I am just thinking a simple band right behind the nose cap for a little extra strength in barrel/stock attachment.

Back when I played with it i thought about cutting down the 2 piece stock to make a full stock "carbine". Seeing this pic makes me wonder if i could open it up to 15/16 for a 54 barrel, i do have a spare stock in the closet 🤔

Just add an under lug and pin.
