Finally got my fusil from TVM last week. Beautiful gun and fits me perfectly.

Took it out Sunday morning and found a nice ridge covered with acorns, sat down and fell asleep. When I woke up this black phase squirrel was sitting on limb about 20 yards away. Saw him fall as the smoke cleared.

It might be me, but I think I sleep better with a flintlock on my lap.

The squirrel stew was pretty tasty too!

Good looking flinter.

I think we should all fall asleep in the woods. Seems like every time someone does, when they wake up there's a critter standing by them!

When I first read the title, I thought a squirrel was sleeping. I guess he kind of is.

Not to sure about falling asleep in the woods, remember what happened to Rip Van Winkle.
