I have for sale a H.E. “Judge” Resley .50 caliber plains style rifle. The gun is in good condition. It has some bumps and bruises. It was made in the late 50’s to early 60’s. It appears to be a rebore of an original barrel by the Judge. The gun is a maple stock, brass furniture with a single wedge pin and pewter nose cap. It has 32” barrel , 1” across the muzzle , 5/8” across the flats. The barrel is marked A.E. Rudolph No. 184, Bryan Texas 1868. H.E.Resley A.R.B. The gun weighs 12.30# pounds. LOP is 13.5” with an overall length of 49”. The lock appears to be a homemade lock. No markings at all except a pheasant on corner. The bore is in good shape, still appears sharp and no rust but may have a minor pit or scratch in it. The sights have been changed at some point. It now wears a Marbles adjustable rear sight and was positioned over the original dove tail spot. The patch box is a spring released by small button on butt and works wells. Overall guns fuctions and shoots. Not a wall hanger if you want to carry it. It is a heavy gun and a bit blocky . If you have any questions or if I left anything out please dont hesitate to ask.
