Purchased from a fellow member, little Jukar Colonial .45. Had a heavy thick varnish coat as described. I felt it would be a fun project for partial restoration.

I used a brillo pad on the stock to smooth it out and flatten the shine, leaving plenty of product on the stock.

From there I sanded the barrel back to mostly white, but not taking out all of the original marks, additional scratches and nicks. Going to let mother nature take over from here! Let the shooting begin!

Fun little and inexpensive project!
