I do not know if this would be the right place for my question. If it is not, I am sure the moderators will move me to it.

I have a CVA double barrel 410 percusion shotgun. I really enjoy using it for squirrels. The problem is that it was made for someone much smaller than me, or even a kids firearm. The LOP is very short. I would like to find someone who can make me a new custom stock using the existing furnitue of the shotgun. Any thoughts from anyone who I might contact? Thanks everyone in advance.

Dave Keck has a duplicating machine and may be able to do it for you using your original stock as a pattern. If so, he could make it any length you want. That being said, you would still have some fitting/inletting to do. If you are not capable of doing it he could probably recommend some folks who are. He has established himself quite a client list.

Would adding a pad extention on the but be helpful?

Thanks,

Uncle pig is getting close. I would think about putting an extension on the butt, which was often done as a child grew, and then getting a leather butt pad, see The Leatherman site.
