This knife i made out of an old mill file hammer finished with some fiileing and mesquite handle with a coffan shaped on the back 14 in, long the handle is 5 in long the blade width, is 1 3/8 in copper pins

I love that style knife. No frills, just a good solid hard working knife. You did a good job. She should serve you well for many years.
 
Nice, but you can't get away that easily. What did you use, oil, or water quench? What can you tell us about building the knife?

Loyd i edge quanch it in canola oil , then baked the knife in the oven at 400 degrees for an hour two times then i hand shaped the handle.My detle sander decided to eat it belt, but i found the site to order the parts any other quistions
