In a pinch you can convert a modern single shot to a muzzle loader. My choice would be a cyl. bore. Just google shotgun adapters to muzzleloader, prices aren't bad either but you will need 209 primers(me bad) which are hard to find. I just recently heard from an industry insider that all 2022 production of powder and primers will be going to ammo manufactuers and that sporting goods dealers will only get what they have backordered from 2021, a very sad state of affairs.

Yes one can do that, the company that makes the adapters says "no slugs" but does that mean also no roundball (much lighter than a slug) ..., but unfortunately we can't go farther in the discussion of that option as the adapters turn the modern shotgun into an in-line muzzleloader. :eek:
