I just saw a few "before and after" photos of a rusty old revolver from the Civil War. The owner of the gun said all he did was give it a bath or a soaking. The results appear pretty good. It was a very rusty gun. He also said this is a non toxic earth friendly product. It's a product called Metal Rescue, has anyone heard of it? Or used it?

Metal Rescue's MSDS says there are no harmful ingredients in it, for what that's worth.

I don't know anything else about it.
