Lubes for side by sides

Most of the time when I’m shooting my side by sides I just use bore butter or mink oil on the over powder card. I heard that many use olive oil on the cushion wad. What are you using these days?

I use thin unlubed leather patches, or if the leather is thick olive oil lubed patches.

So I’m assuming that you punch your own. I’ve never tried leather, but most of the other types of wadding I have tried

My Pedersoli 12 ga like 80-90 gr OE 2f and same amount cream of wheat directly over the powder (no wad)than 1 1/4 oz 5 shot then a Dura Felt wad Lubed by the bear . Tightest pattern ever shot in this gun !!!/Ed
