Cushion wads and my favorite load so far.

First of all I wanna share my current favorite load for my 12ga pedersoli. I've been spending alot of time and powder at the trap range lately and have found a sweet spot for my gun. That is 65gr FFFg/ nitro card/ leather cushion/ 1oz #7 1/2 shot/ nitro crd/ lubed Fibre wad.

The "nitro card" is punched from dense cardboard.
I'm running out of the leather cushion wad and the material I'm using to make it. Any suggestions on a better common alternative to that thin cushion?
Anyone got any old leather gloves they wanna give me?/s

Maybe some thin felt/wool blanket type material? I've never tried it but I've seen a couple guys use standard cardboard as a cushion wad.

Go to Hobby Lobby and by the bulk scrap leather like I do. Or look online for scrap leather supplies. Pretty easy to purchase. I use the leather wads I make as over powder wads. I use 2 of them over powder and 1 to seal the bore. Lubed felt goes under the shot. Both of my 20 ga Pedersoli's shoot fine with it.
