I have made arraignments to purchase a Tennessee flint lock rifle built by Lloyd Moler. Wondering if anyone has any information about him. Years ago TOTW listed this rifle in their consignment area for sale, and referred to him as "the famous Lloyd Moler".

So far I have not been able to find anything? any help would be appreciated.

Lloyd was/is a very fine maker. I believe he is retired from making long rifles.

William Bennet posted images in the Contemporary Long Rifle Association Facebook Page, in October of last year, of three guns he has that were made by Mr. Moler, and which he bought directly from the builder… you might PM Mr. Bennet via Facebook and see if he can get Mr. Moler to reach out to you?

He’s a heck of a horner too! I twined his granddaughter a bag about 17 years ago, he made me a heck of a French Pulverin.

I do not have a facebook page however I used my wife's page and sent Mr. Bennet a message.

My phone just rang and it was Lloyd Moler himself. The rifle was built in 1998 and he has lots of pictures and the entire build file on it. I will post up some pictures and info after I get it home. Thanks to everyone for their help.
